FMC Classic was a Robloxian music television channel owned by Lava Lamp Entertainment. It is a spinoff of sister station FMC. Exclusive to the Amicable premium television service, the channel focuses on music videos from the early 1970s-late 1990s.

Like its namesake FMC, FMC Classic featured a heavy emphasis on "alternative" classic music styles, such as new wave.

The channel was initially started on January 14, 2017 by Gavent Networks under the name RMT Classic, as a spinoff of former sister station RMT. At its launch, it was made exclusive to the Amicable premium television service. On March 31, 2017, Gavent Networks shut down, and announced that ownership of RMT Classic would be transferred to Lava Lamp Entertainment, whom also gained a license to use the RMT name for that channel the channel from that network's new owners, rTV Networks (RMT Classic was the only Gavent Networks channel that wasn't transferred to rTV Networks). On April 8, 2017, Lava Lamp Entertainment officially announced that the network would be rebranded as FMC Classic, bringing it inline with Lava Lamp's music television brand FMC. On April 27, 2017, LLE effectively put the network on the back burner for the time being, saying the success of FMC would determine whether or not FMC Classic would launch. On January 1, 2019, Lava Lamp shut down FMC Classic to allow themselves to focus on the company's core brands.

Programming[]

Although no original series have been properly announced, a classics-themed version of Top 10 Topper had been hinted at to help bolster the channel, similar to the spinoff version created for its former sister network RMTEDM (exclusive to the competing roTV platform). Due to the network's rebrand under the FMC name, a series under the Top 10 Topper name became impossible as the rights concerning various RMT properties (inclusing the Top 10 Topper franchise) now belonged to rTV Networks.
